Its been a hectic and busy Feb! What with all the Chinese New Yr celebrations and my official 1st mth of sales target running...time seem to zoom by 3x faster!
Feb is always a very eventful mth because CNY usually falls during this mth and there's vday, bdae and Our-Day all rolled within this short mth. Haha...but i'm always very dreadful of the mths after that as it seems that the dredgery of the long yr ahead is staring blankly in my face. But new yr with a new start so let's make the most out of our lives bah ppl!
Its been abt 2 mths since i've finished training and started real work in the office. Although there are still much things that i seemed like an idiot abt but the work is starting to feel like routine once again. The 1 thing that i really like abt my work now is that my weekends are finally free! I'm sure everyone knows abt the horrendous work-life "balance" i had in my previous job where almost every wkend is filled with endless mind-numbing roadshows. And wkends dun seem very likeable coz there's nothing much to look forward to....sigh ya those were the sad days. And because of that i treasure very much the sat and sun that i have now. The feeling of being able to go out late on a fri nite and sleeping in on sat and sun morning is such a glorious feeling that i so appreciate now...haha...some of u might think i'm pretty moronic to feel like this over such a simple matter. The recent sat that i spend was gg to work til 1pm(my 1st sat duty for 2mths) and then gg over to darl's hs to chill and out later in the day. I think the last time we spent a Sat like this was pretty much during our schooling days and it was really nice :)
Anyway i'm really dying for a retreat away from Spore! I would love to slack away on a nice sunny beach or some place where i can have massages for my aching body 3 times a day!
I missed the slow paced days at Pulau Besar where there was absolutely nothing to do there other than stare at the sea and playing pool...haha...
I missed Phuket with the Vivo gang where we went island hopping and drank our guts away in the nite.
I missed the Japan days with darl where the weather was cold and we had great food everywhere we went(by far Japan is my fav hols yet).
I missed Korea with my parents coz it was precious family time spent.
I missed Shanghai with darl&yt&pw where we had lots of fun with all our new travel friends. Sigh...i missed travelling...
And hopefully i'll be able to plan something short soon bah.
