Its nearing the end of the year again and everytime during this period, i especially feel the need to travel somewhere out of Singapore. Most companies financial year ends around Sept or October and usually after this closing period, its the time where we hectic sales people get a breather from management. At least that what my boss tells us...

This year i haven't had a chance to go anywhere too far away but rather its mostly short weekend trips. Krabi was the first airplane destination this yr and Bangkok in dec seems like it'll be the last one to wrap up 2010 with. I'm still crossing my fingers for 1 more this yr but we'll just see how it goes then.

I sometimes wonder how its like if i were to travel alone. A simple no frills journey with a limited budget and possibly coupled with a good camera to capture all the experiences. It might feel kinda lonely but it'll definitely be different. No one to check directions with, no one to shop with, no one to share the food with, no one to take pictures with and no one to remember the same experience with. But nowadays, making travelling plans with companions has so many factors that its really not a given if everyone manages to make it in the same schedule. How many trips have i spoken with my many friends that till date its still just talk? And how many places have i stated that i will wanna go visit together are still just plans of someday... so maybe someday i might just go travel alone. Someday this plan may really come true...
